Here’s why I don’t understand how any professional franchise in its right mind could ever consider leaving the Buffalo market. The Sabres announced on Tuesday that 97 percent of their season-ticket holders have renewed for the upcoming season. While I’m sure their has to be some funky math involved in that equation — I personally have three different friends who said they’re downgrading from seasons to mini-packs — it’s still incredible that a non-playoff team in a town with a rebounding NFL franchise might approach last year’s box office success.
And FYI, we’re still working on the blog look, which is why it’s been on the shelf for a bit. My apologies to all.
