RIP HOF game

In yet another case of pampered pro athletes worrying first about themselves and little about the money machine their a part of, a rainout seemed an appropriate ending to the annual Hall of Fame game, an exhibition series that was laid to rest after more than six decades of tradition.

Players were largely against the trip, because it infringed on an off-day, and forced them to a small town in upstate New York.

A small town, I should add, that houses the Hall of Fame for the sport that makes them millions.

Sorry for building a shrine to your vocation, guys, then forcing you to visit it.
