Let’s get it started — No expansion on NCAA, OK?

You can catch a glimpse of what I have to say (and I rarely stop talking) by clicking here Tim’s Take, but I’ll keep this updated as often as possible. The following is Tuesday’s Leading Off:

Enough on NCAA expansion, OK?
Chances are if you’re looking to expand the NCAA Tournament past the magical number of 65, you’re probably a college coach who’s recently missed the cut.
And hopefully those who’ve voiced their displeasure over a “limited” field will notice something about this year’s tournament — all four number one seeds won their region.
Davidson’s run was special, but in the end the highest-rated teams reached the pinnacle. And expanding the field would only add more major conference teams that don’t deserve to play on the NCAA’s biggest stage.
Syracuse, for example, was a decent Big East team. But does anyone really think the Orange really earned a ticket to the dance?
More upsets make more fun, but hopefully this year’s tournament ends a long-running debate — keep the madness just the size it’s at.
